Exam is a delight...no no.. i mean eating was a delight. Exams are a bitch...

I totally blanked out during like half-hour of the exam, everything i memorized just got all jumbled up, i knew the answers but i did not know where it fits!!. I was like thinking, brainstorming , dreaming in my mind where the answers were supposed to be. And pardaon me, in exams they don't accept more than two answers.
And the best thing is that, my exercise book with all the answers were under the table just right at my feet. I knew i could take my twinkle toes, and open the book.. lol. but nah... guilty of cheating, and if u pass, you feel guilty, coz its not real.
Well, my fingers and wrists were aching, i ran out of time to finish the exam, as i saw the clock tick. Coz at the last question.. a total of 40 marks essay, i wrote barely like 12 lines and less.. damn........shit happens when your minds goes blank, and i do not even dare to read back the studied answers for fear everything was all wrong!

This holiday better be goooood. it better be.. be be be........

One down, one more to go before i leave for my holiday! in two days..

YeA, due to some bad luck, i was unable to sit for my exam last week, so i had to get a medical certificate to defer my exam, But who noes, when i saw my lecturer yesterday, she told me i could sit for it now or today if i want to. Dang, so in the end, i didnt have to waste my time to go all the way to the city, wait and see a damn doctor.

Well i have one more exam left for tmr. Last paper, Last sem, I grad.! But so... i think im gonna continue to post-grad studies..So its back to more studying for myself.

And then holiday~~~

Singapore noodles?

Seriously, it dawned upon to me.. What the hell is 'Singapore noodles?' Why didnt we have that kind of food back in Singapore?

The fact is, tell any hawker cooking your food " I want Singapore noodles". The first thing they will go is like " har?"
We all know that there is no such item or dish called " Singapore noodles" in Singapore. From the pics of it, it looks like a cross-mix of just what we call, "Fried beehoon" or " Fried mee". But the fact is, i have never came across hawkers selling these dishes cooked like that, ( Prob only my mum or homecooked style, yes)

So come to think of it, when im here in a Western Country, this dish is so popular. Many times i would wanna try it, its like, they don't call it " Singapore noodles" for nothing. I was raised in Singapore, so duh, im surprised i haven tried this dish yet that claims its association with SG.

They asscociate this dish with Singapore, but yet, that country doesnt even provide or have this dish existing... How ironic..

I guess its just a name of a dish created to resemble the country. Its just like " California roll is DEFINITELY not created and from California. And if i was to go France, and ask for " french fries" im gonna get a few stares. Shall i just say, those which country names in a dish/food, are definetly created by someone not from that country... so duh...
